Who Do You Want to Shoot with Game on the Line?

Sports Illustrated asked 166 NBA players this question, ““Who do you want shooting with the game on the line?” These are not the type of guys who break down the numbers and make up some random facts based on numbers that no one gives a damn about. Here is how the players answered:

1. Kobe Bryant -- 74%
2. Kevin Durant -- 8%
3. Dwyane Wade -- 3%
4. Ray Allen -- 2%
5. Dirk Nowitzki -- 2%

I’m surprised that Melo didn’t crack the top 5. Since 2003, he’s had 16 game-winning shots while Kobe has had 15 game-winning shots. His one-dribble pull-up jump shot from 18-feet is almost automatic.

By the way, if ESPN conducted the poll, the headline would have probably been “Over a quarter of NBA players think Kobe isn’t clutch.” LOL.
